Beautiful Marine Life Wedding Invitations Featuring Octopus, Cuttlefish and Squid

If you love the ocean as much as I do, you probably love all the interesting creatures that live below the waves. Yes there are the beautiful Sea Turtles and Seahorses but I'm talking about the more unusual ones - you know, the Octopus, Cuttlefish and Squid! The Cephalopods! 

These clever creatures can live at great depths or even walk on land, in the case of terrestrial octopus. Many of them have camouflage skin and the many colors and patterns they come in make them a beautiful addition to your under the sea wedding invitations!

These octopus wedding invitations are so fun, mixing the fancy classic look of cursive font with the strikingly beautiful and unusual octopus antique scientific print at the top of the invitation. These wedding invites are perfect for a cephalopod-loving couple and I've made them for folks getting married at aquariums, getting married at the beach, and for one landlocked couple in Ohio because they were having an undersea theme wedding and wanted something memorable!

Octopus Wedding Invitations

 Octopus wedding invitations are fun and different for beach weddings (let's hope you don't see any on the beach!) and if you're having a wedding at an aquarium it fits the ambiance perfectly!
I did the variation you see above for Cassandra and Christopher's peach and green wedding - I changed the color of the text to be more green instead of aqua, and the envelopes were a lovely pale blush pink with shimmer. Perfect for their November California Wedding.

Octopus Wedding Invitations for a Fall wedding near Huston, Texas

Octopus wedding invitations for a wedding in Texas - the couple decided to get their save the dates, invitations and octopus thank you notes all at once so they could ship together. This is one of my favorite designs, and it combines an antique scientific drawing of an octopus with an elegant script font and aqua envelopes, perfect for any beach or aquarium wedding! (I think this particular wedding, near Huston, Texas was neither, but that's ok, since it's very near the Gulf!)

These Octopus wedding invitations are one of my most popular nautical wedding invitation designs. For this wedding, the bride had a forest green and peach color scheme, so I made the text a darker green and we went with a lovely light peach shimmer envelope. They came out beautifully! Usually the colors I work with for Concertina Press wedding invitations are navy blue, light blue and teal, but Christine had a special request for purple invitations! Purple happens to be my favorite color, so I found it exciting to create these special Octopus wedding announcements and Spiral Shell wedding invitations, and they turned out beautifully.
