I designed these Cape Cod Wedding Invitations to be beautiful, timeless, and classic, in a navy blue and white color scheme (other colors also available). Not everyone knows what Cape Cod looks like though, so I digitally restored a beautiful 125 year old antique map of the iconic arm-shaped peninsula  and you can put a little heart over the town where you're getting married. This is especially helpful to your guests who might not realize that "Cape Cod" isn't just a town, but is an entire county with many small towns.

These Cape Cod Wedding invitations feature an antique map of the Cape, an optional guest information card (great if you're having  a weekend of events like Friday welcome party and Sunday Brunch) and a very flexible RSVP card. I can accommodate all kinds of RSVP customizations including lines for each attendee, a line for "number of guests", rehearsal dinner RSVPs or anything else. The wording pictured above is fun nautical wording but you can also stick with the more traditional "accepts with pleasure" or "declines with regret".

Cape Cod is a beautiful place to be married, and I would know because I was married in Falmouth! My husband and I were married on 7-7-7 and enjoyed a beautiful beachside ceremony at The Knob. We lived on the Cape year round for 7 years - now we live in Florida near my parents, but we love to go back to the Cape to visit! I also love working with couples getting married on Cape Cod because it  is so close to my heart and brings back so many good memories.

This little outcropping of rock called "The Knob" is a hidden gem in Falmouth - a lovely place to walk your dog or take a little hike out to see the sunset.

Custom Cape Cod Wedding Invitations with Map and Adorable Tiny Heart

I designed these customizable Cape Cod Map wedding invitations when I was living in Falmouth year-round just after college. The map of Cape Cod I used was originally drawn in 1891, and features the founding dates of each of the towns on the Cape. You can customize this wedding invitation by putting a tiny red heart over the town where you're getting married, making a lovely keepsake for years to come! It also helps your guests who might not be familiar with the Cape figure out where to stay - sometimes when I mention, "I used to live on the Cape", I get questions like, "oh my friend lived on Cape Cod too, did you know them?" - not realizing it takes nearly two hours to drive from the bridge all the way to Provincetown!

 My husband (then fiance) and I moved down to the charming seaside town of Woods Hole in 2006 and were married in Falmouth on 7-7-7 at the Knob , an adorable tiny nature preserve with a peninsula where you can see stunning views of Buzzards Bay and Quissett Harbor. We moved away from the Cape in 2013 down to sunny Florida to be closer to my family, but we still love to visit our old stomping grounds! Cape Cod Map Wedding Invitations in Navy and White with a Separate Private Ceremony Invitation Enclosure Card

Wedding season is in full swing, and one of my favorite designs for a summer wedding on the Cape are my Cape Cod wedding invitations featuring a navy antique map of the famous Massachusetts peninsula drawn in 1891, paired with a light gray compass printed onto textured white card stock and layered on a navy backing. My inspiration came from living on the Cape year-round for 11 years - I  lived in Bourne and also in Falmouth near Woods Hole which is where I first started my stationery business before moving to Florida to help out my family. I have lots of fond memories of the cedar shingled houses, and I was married on the Cape myself, in Falmouth at Quissett Harbor.

 In the photo above, a couple were having a private wedding ceremony at Fisher Beach in Truro on Cape Cod before a big wedding reception that everyone was invited to. I made these custom insert cards with a closeup of the Outer Cape with a heart over Fisher Beach that they could tuck into their larger reception invitations for the handful of people who were invited to the ceremony.

Cape Cod map wedding invitations with matching thank you notes

This past year was a big one for Cape Cod weddings! One of my couples requested a special red, white and blue color scheme on their wedding invitations for their fourth of July wedding, along with a cute red anchor over Harwich, the town where they were married.

Another special request was a set of Cape Cod Thank you notes, and tiny matching welcome cards to attach to gift baskets for out of town visitors. Very cute!

The Perfect Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations for Your Cape Cod Wedding

Although Concertina Press is based in Florida now, Cape Cod will always have a fond place in my heart because I lived up there for about 12 years, mostly in Falmouth near Woods Hole, and graduated from Bourne High School. My Cape Cod Save the Date (link is to my website) is one of my most popular designs, and so in 2013 I created a matching Cape Cod wedding invitation in Navy blue, with a layered backing. I've done a few variations on it this year, as you can see from the photos above and below. 

The typical wording I use is "You're Invited" at the top, but as you can see above I did a special version that said "Together with their Families..." for a bride and groom getting married this past summer. I also created a special insert card with a cute whale for announcing their wedding day activities, one of which was a Cape Cod whale watch. I love how they came out! So much Cape Cod!

My profile says I'm from Florida, and so you might ask yourself "why does Concertina Press sell so many Cape Cod wedding invitations?" well the answer is, I used to live there! That's right, I lived in the pretty town of Falmouth, Massachusetts right near Woods Hole where the famous marine biology lab and oceanographic institutes are.

Living on the Cape was great, and full of history - we rented the bottom floor of a 200 year old farmhouse! However, an opportunity to help out my family led me down here to the sunny Space Coast of Florida where I continue to run Concertina Press, but I do go up to visit the Cape when I can, and I've visited every town there. If you've never been, you might not know that it's actually pretty big, and takes about 2 hours to drive from end to end.
