Striped Bass Wedding Invitations with Lighthouse Stamps

 

I developed these Striped Bass wedding invitations on a special request - if you're interested in getting some for your wedding contact me. These wedding invites are fun for fishermen (and women!) The second photo shows the matching RSVP, with the striped bass carefully considering the dangling hook, as well as the matching envelope liner with waves. Finally the last photo shows some great nautical stamps (most wedding invitations require a forever stamp + .20 since they're bulkier than regular mail). Anchor Engagement Party Invitations and Nautical Postage Stamps

The navy blue anchor and rope border on this charming nautical save the date was exactly what this couple was looking for - but in an invitation for their engagement party up at Seagull's Restaurant in Maine. I also wanted to show off the newest addition to my vintage nautical stamp collection, the German Immigration Tricentenial 20 cent stamp - which features a beautiful sailing ship. Paired with it is last year's USPS lighthouse forever stamp - a lovely nautical pair. These two stamps, a forever stamp plus a 20 cent stamp is what you'd need to mail out a wedding invitation set that includes an rsvp card and envelope in addition to the invitation. You can get the lighthouse stamps on the USPS website, and the ship stamps on ebay (make sure to get unused postage).
